LAAM Fashion Week 2026 gave Lahore four nights of gold, velvet, embroidery and some very big celebrity moments. Season 2 ran from 23 to 26 October 2026 with 43 shows and more than 50 designers and brands, and the stars came out in force. Aiman Khan in Erum Khan Couture: gold, silver and a comeback
“Comeback ho toh aisa” was the line all over Instagram. About a year after the birth of her younger daughter, Aiman Khan took to the runway on the final day in a floor length gold sequinned column gown, its beadwork opening into feather like sprays at the hem. The real surprise was the short silver cape over her shoulders, heavily embellished and finished with a beaded fringe. Silver flower earrings instead of a necklace and big, side swept Hollywood waves completed a look that proved gold and silver can absolutely be worn together.

Sajal Aly in Jugnu Studios: the bold surprise
Sajal Aly usually means soft pastels and graceful ghararas. Not this time. On the final day she wore Jugnu Studios, Hussain Rehar’s new experimental line: an oversized deep navy jacket with tan trims over a crisp white high collar shirt, cinched at the waist with a red sash embroidered in soft flowers, above a full red skirt. Reports differ on whether she walked the runway or attended to support her sister Saboor, but either way it was one of the most talked about looks of the night.

Durefishan Saleem in Mihha: the dulhan moment and the debate
Durefishan Saleem closed Mihha’s show on the very first night under a caramel organza dupatta heavy with gold zardozi, worn over her head like a ghoonghat, above a dusty salmon lehenga with gold stripes. Hands folded, smiling wide, she gave the week its most emotional bridal moment. Then social media spotted that Mawra Hocane had worn an almost identical Mihha lehenga as the brand’s showstopper in 2024. Critics at Dawn Images questioned the repeat, while also calling Mihha’s brown and gold collection the best of the first night.

Zara Noor Abbas wore a Mughal inspired creation by Haseens on the final day, a look reports described as bringing regal drama to the finale. Haseens was also one of the brands powering the season, so the brand had a very visible night.
Saboor Aly in Maria Osama: modern and understated
Saboor Aly appeared for Maria Osama on the final day, in an ensemble reports described as balancing modern fashion with understated elegance. With sister Sajal in Jugnu Studios the same night, it was a big evening for the Aly sisters.
