Cardigans in Pakistan 2026: 186 to Order, and Why Hers Cost More Than His

Sale Siren · Verified Pricing

Measured across 29 stores and 186 pieces you can order, read on 9 and 10 October 2026

Abbu calls his cardigan “the waistcoat with sleeves”, and in this made up but very believable story he has worn the same brown one since I was in class two. Three buttons left out of five, one elbow more hole than wool. Last week Ammi held it up like evidence in court. Verdict: guilty. So I promised him a new one, and one for me too, zaroor.

I read the online catalogues of 29 Pakistani fashion stores on 9 and 10 October 2026, 173,852 products, and pulled out every cardigan you can still order: 186 pieces at 9 brands, 132 for women and 54 for men. Here is what cardigans really cost, which sales are real, and why hers cost more than his.

Cardigans in Pakistan: Who Actually Sells Them

First shock: 20 of the 29 stores had no cardigan you could order (judged on title and product type). Big names like Maria B, Sana Safinaz, Zeen, Nishat Linen and Monark listed zero. Nine brands carry the whole shelf:

Across all 186 the typical price was Rs 7,276, and half sat between Rs 5,499 and Rs 11,899. Limelight and Bonanza Satrangi hold 126, two thirds of the market. Agar cardigan chahiye, it is those two, or Diners and Cambridge for men.

Six more pieces had cardigan only in their tags (Bonanza zipper turtlenecks and a Limelight cropped jacket), so they stay out. And Bonanza lists 486 women’s cardigan pages but only 59 can be ordered. Lots of sold out pages, haan, so do not trust an old Google image link.

Ladies Cardigans: Bonanza Satrangi vs Limelight

The women’s shelf is 132 pieces at four brands, typical Rs 8,490. Our sweater for women guide counted 133 on the same data; we count one fewer because a Gul Ahmed “Black Fashion Cardigan” is sold in “Men Sizes”, so it sits on the men’s side here.

Women’s pieces still orderable, read on 9 and 10 October 2026. On sale is a share of each row.

Bonanza Satrangi is the premium shop. Its 59 pieces run Rs 8,190 to Rs 14,590, round necks, V necks and wing collars, and not one is on sale. Shaadi wale polished pieces, the kind phuppo notices.

Limelight is the practical one. 67 pieces at a typical Rs 5,899, two thirds on sale. Seven are not a cardigan on its own: six 2 piece cardigan suits in khaddar, silk or velvet, plus one knitted co-ord set. Without them, its 60 standalone pieces sit at Rs 5,699. For matching sets, see our co-ord sets guide.

Gul Ahmed has three short cardigan styles at Rs 1,198, 60 percent off. Outfitters has three new cropped ones at full price. Bas, that is the whole women’s market.

Chalo, ladies cardigan ka hisaab

Budget: Gul Ahmed at Rs 1,198. Everyday: Limelight at Rs 5,699. Shaadi season: Bonanza Satrangi at Rs 12,990.

Men’s Cardigans: Diners, Cambridge and a Sale Rack

Ab Abbu ki baari. I found 54 men’s pieces at 7 brands, typical Rs 5,745, and 45 of them on sale, 83 percent, at a typical cut of 50 percent from a typical was price of Rs 10,595. Matlab men’s cardigans really are cheaper on the day.

Diners has the biggest rack: 23 pieces, every one at 50 percent off: Rs 5,245 sleeveless, Rs 5,495 with a zip and Rs 5,745 full sleeves, down from Rs 10,490, Rs 10,990 and Rs 11,490. Navy, black, brown, fawn: bilkul uncle colours.

Cambridge is the wool shop. All 20 of its pieces say lamb wool or lambs wool, typical Rs 8,476. Eleven from October 2025 are 20 percent off; nine added on 1 October 2026 are full price, Rs 9,595 to Rs 11,995. Three show a was price of Rs 10,595 below their Rs 10,995 price: not a sale.

The rest are small samples: Edenrobe 6 (shawl collar at Rs 7,000, cotton sleeveless at Rs 5,000, all on sale), Uniworth 2, and one each at Gul Ahmed, J. Junaid Jamshed and Outfitters.

Open Front, Button or Zip: Which Cardigan Shape

A cardigan opens at the front, but brands rarely say how. This table shows only what titles say:

Words read from the title and product type of 186 orderable pieces, read on 9 and 10 October 2026. A sleeveless piece can also be button or zip.

Collared, open front styles are dearest, mostly Bonanza. A men’s sleeveless cardigan is basically a knitted waistcoat over a kameez; for the stitched kind, see our men’s waistcoat guide.

Wool, Acrylic or Cotton: What Cardigans Are Made Of

Catalogues go quiet here. I searched the title, product type, tags and vendor for fibre words:

A piece can match more than one word (a woolen jacquard piece counts in both). Edenrobe’s two cotton pieces say cotton only in the vendor field.

Wool is the only fibre brands like to name: 63 pieces, typical Rs 6,799, all from Limelight (43 woolen or wool blend) and Cambridge (20 lamb wool). Limelight’s woolen ones are a typical Rs 5,499, mostly on sale.

Not one piece said acrylic in its title, type, tags or vendor, although 87 other orderable products at these stores do. Cotton appears on just 2, and 85 pieces, 45.7 percent, name no fabric at all. Itne paise mein at least fabric toh batao, yaar. For proper thand, pick one that says wool.

Men’s pieces bunch in the middle: 68.5 percent cost Rs 5,000 to Rs 7,999, and none cost Rs 12,000 or more. Women’s are spread out, with a third above Rs 12,000, nearly all Bonanza Satrangi. That is the whole “hers cost more” story: one premium brand at full price on one side, discounted racks on the other.

The cheapest were Gul Ahmed’s short cardigan at Rs 1,198 and a Limelight woolen one at Rs 1,250, first listed in 2022. The dearest single pieces were three Bonanza round necks at Rs 14,590.

The deepest cut was a Limelight embroidered khaddar cardigan at Rs 1,999, down 72 percent from Rs 7,199, with only size Small left. Before you trust any banner, read our fake sale guide, and watch the winter sale.

Sizes: Free Size for Her, XL for Him

Women’s pieces mostly come in one size: 77 of 132 are free size and 35 Limelight pieces show no size option. Only 19 have letter sizes, and none of those 19 still had an XL; Small was easiest, on 15.

Men’s pieces are all letter sized, and the news is better. XL was still orderable on 31 of 54, 57.4 percent, but XXL on only 5. Cambridge had XL on 17 of 20.

Cambridge has the most choice, gently discounted. By style, crew necks were a typical Rs 4,396, cardigans Rs 5,745, high and turtle necks Rs 6,746, zip necks Rs 7,795 and V necks Rs 7,990.

How to Buy a Cardigan Online

  1. Size. Women’s pieces are mostly free size; for him, measure the chest over a kameez.
  2. Pick your budget. Under Rs 3,000: Gul Ahmed. Rs 5,000 to 8,000: Limelight for her, Diners or Edenrobe for him. Above Rs 8,000: Bonanza Satrangi for her, Cambridge lamb wool for him.
  3. Want warmth? Look for the word wool. Only 63 of 186 name it, at Limelight and Cambridge.
  4. Hunt the old stock. Every discounted piece was added before 15 July 2026.

Layer a kurti underneath, and a coat or shawl on top for cold nights.

Returns on Sale Knitwear

Limelight says items bought on sale cannot be exchanged, and Bonanza Satrangi says sale products cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded. Gul Ahmed gives a 30 day exchange without excluding sale items. Edenrobe excludes items at 50 percent off or more; none of its 6 pieces reach that cut. We have not read the Diners, Cambridge, Uniworth or Outfitters policies, so check those on the brand site.

The Bottom Line on Cardigans

Cardigans in Pakistan, in one line: 186 you can order at 9 brands, typical Rs 7,276, half of them on sale. Women’s cardigans cost more, Rs 8,490 typical against Rs 5,745, because of Bonanza Satrangi. The men’s side is a sale rack of older stock, 83 percent discounted.

Mera plan: a Diners full sleeve one at Rs 5,745 for Abbu, in XL before it goes, and a Limelight woolen one for me. Abbu will say “purana wala bhi theek tha”, then wear the new one daily. Sab khush.

How we checked: We read 29 Pakistani fashion stores’ online catalogues on 9 and 10 October 2026, 173,852 products, including five menswear stores read on 9 October. A piece counts when its title or product type says cardigan, as in our women’s sweater guide; children’s pieces are left out. Men’s pieces are those at menswear stores, or those saying men in the title, type, tags, vendor or size option. On sale means a higher was price, with a cut under 93 percent. Typical means the median. Groups under 20 are small samples. Khaadi and Sapphire publish no readable catalogue. “New” means first created on or after 15 July 2026.
