Limelight plays a different game from the rest of the high street. It is the brand students and first jobbers actually buy, because the everyday prices are low enough that you need not wait for a sale. Simple si baat hai.

The Limelight Sale Is the Shallowest in Pakistan

Nearly half the sale sits in the weakest band, but 534 items are discounted at 41 percent or better, which is far more than the headline suggests.

For context, Ethnic by Outfitters has every single item at 50 percent off or more. Generation has nothing below 41 percent. Limelight has 485 items sitting at 30 percent or under.

The only sale that comes close on shallowness is J. Junaid Jamshed at 62.5 percent in that weak band. If you came expecting a huge clearance, lower your hopes. Samajh gayi na?

Why the Limelight Sale Still Works

Bas yehi wajah hai Limelight. A brand that discounts a Rs 14,000 suit by 50 percent still wants Rs 7,000 from you. Limelight discounts a Rs 2,869 suit by 26 percent and wants Rs 2,033. Ready to wear is where the rupees are, Rs 2,347 off an average piece, and it is the biggest section at 198 items. But note the price after discount is still Rs 5,452, jo sasta bilkul nahi hai. The genuine bargain in this sale is unstitched printed at Rs 2,033. Yeh baat zaroori hai.

Limelight Summer Sale: What Was Left of It on 17 September

I cannot promise you a Limelight summer sale is running as you read this, because our last full read of the catalogue is 17 September 2026 and we have measured nothing since. But on that day Limelight’s own tags still had a summer rail, and it was large.

1,020 adult garments in stock carried a summer sale tag, labels like “summer sale all”, “RTW summer sale” and “unstitched summer sale”, and every single one of the 1,020 was discounted. The typical piece fell from Rs 4,699 to Rs 2,999, a 31 percent cut, which is the same shallow band as the rest of the shop. Ready to wear was the biggest slice at 393 pieces, then unstitched printed at 143.

The dates tell you when this stock stopped moving. The newest pieces on that rail were created in July 2026, only 26 of them, and nothing was added in August or September. Limelight online shopping goes through limelight.pk, the brand’s own store, and that site looks impossibly well stocked. When I read the whole women’s catalogue on 17 September 2026 it held 3,409 pieces and 3,403 of them were still orderable. Only six listings were completely sold out, which is almost unheard of on the Pakistani high street.

The honest version shows up at size level. 2,122 of those in stock pieces publish a size, the other 1,281 being mostly unstitched fabric, dupattas and head wear that carry none, and 1,296 of the sized pieces had already lost at least one size. What to Skip in the Limelight Sale

• Bags at 25 percent. The weakest cut in the sale, saving an average of Rs 925.
• Girls wear at 25 percent. Equally weak, and children grow out of it fast.
• Shoes. Sizing is hard to get right and sale purchases cannot be exchanged.
• Ready to wear if budget is the point. Rs 5,452 after discount is not the reason people shop this brand.
