Last Thursday my sister messaged me: “Need something for work, under 2,500, not boring.” Sirf itni si baat. I opened four brand apps, scrolled for forty minutes, and found either a Rs 6,000 embroidered thing or a kurti in a size that sold out in March. Bas, I shut the phone.
So I stopped scrolling and started counting. I read the complete catalogues of 19 Pakistani brands and pulled out every kurti you can order today: 706 at 8 brands, typical price Rs 2,990. Here is the whole kurti Pakistan picture, including the size problem nobody talks about.
Kurti Pakistan: Who Actually Stocks One
First surprise. Of the 19 catalogues we read, only 8 brands had a kurti in stock. Ten, including Maria B, Sana Safinaz and Nishat Linen, never use the word kurti, and Bonanza Satrangi’s are sold out.

Alkaram Studio is the cheapest, and it is not close: 60 of its 95 kurtis are under Rs 2,000 and the whole range is discounted. Gul Ahmed mixes cheap with choice, 67 under Rs 2,000 out of 156. Limelight holds the lowest price we found, Rs 900 for a dyed lawn kurti listed at Rs 2,999. Almirah has nothing under Rs 2,000, bohat pyare hain lekin sasta kuch nahi.
How we counted kurta and kurti
Dono alag hain. We count a piece as a kurti only when the brand writes kurti, not every kurta: 996 of the 1,235 in stock products saying kurta are menswear. Only 62 women’s pieces say kurta and never kurti, so the widest honest count is 768, under 9 percent above our headline.
Khaadi and Sapphire sell kurtis in their shops, bilkul, but neither publishes a readable feed, so no number here covers them.
Kurti Pakistan Prices, Band by Band
The typical kurti costs Rs 2,990, a quarter under Rs 1,995 and a quarter above Rs 4,490. Friendlier than the rest of the wardrobe: across 27,687 priced garments in stock here, the typical price is Rs 4,979.

More than half the kurtis in stock cost under Rs 3,000, and everything under Rs 2,500 is already on sale.
Look at the bottom two bands. Every kurti under Rs 2,500 is a discounted one. Nothing is born at that price, it falls there. Stitched or Unstitched: The Kurti Pakistan Answer
This settled a family argument. Not one of the 706 kurtis is sold unstitched. Zero. A kurti at a Pakistani brand is always ready to wear, and 529 say pret or ready to wear on the listing. The wider catalogue is different: 5,802 of 18,029 classified pieces are unstitched fabric.
So the darzi route is not a kurti, it is shirt fabric. There are 100 unstitched one piece or shirt only cuts at 7 brands, typical Rs 1,272, 72 percent of them on sale.
What the tailor adds

Office and Work Kurtis for Kurti Pakistan Shoppers
I went hunting for office kurtis and found nothing. Not one of the 706 is tagged office, and only one says work wear. Chalo, so we sort by finish, which decides whether a kurti reads professional.

Plain and dyed kurtis are the cheapest and most discounted. Aur haan, a plain kurti photographs badly online, which is exactly why it gets marked down. Two ranges are worth knowing by name: Alkaram’s Basics line holds 89 kurtis at a typical Rs 1,890, all on sale, and J.’s Essentials line has 67 at a typical Rs 1,614. Those are the closest thing the kurti Pakistan market has to a work shelf.

Read the XXL row twice. Only 196 kurtis list an XXL, and just 23 across these 8 brands can still be ordered. All 23 are at J. Junaid Jamshed, the only brand listing XXL across its range. Almirah lists XXL on 21 of 88 and every one has gone. Gul Ahmed, Alkaram, Ethnic, Limelight and Zeen do not list one at all.
XL is barely kinder: 504 list it, only 244 still have it, while XS sits quietly in 546. Agar aap XL ya XXL hain, yeh sach bohat kharab hai. Worse, only 207 kurtis still have every size they listed, and of the 2,494 ever listed, 1,788 are sold out. That kurti you loved last month is not coming back, meri jaan.

Fabric and finish come from titles and tags, so one kurti can count twice or not at all. Generation has no rupee prices, and Khaadi and Sapphire no readable feed, so neither appears in a price figure. Groups under 20 are small samples.
