Your cousin’s mehndi is next week and your wardrobe is all kurti and trouser. You scroll through Instagram and every peshwas looks the same, and nobody tells you what they actually cost. Yaar, formal shopping in Pakistan is bohat confusing when prices hide behind “DM for details.”

So I counted. On 9 and 10 October 2026 I read the full online catalogues of 24 Pakistani stores and pulled out every women’s frock you can still order: 51 pieces at 12 brands. Warning: this is a small sample. Every brand group is under 20 pieces. But small sample or not, these are real prices from real catalogues, and that is more than most guides give you.

Frock Pakistan: Who Actually Sells Them

First surprise: 12 of the 24 brands had no women’s frocks at all. Agha Noor, Alkaram Studio, Almirah, Beechtree, Cross Stitch, Edenrobe, Elan, Maria B, Outfitters, Sana Safinaz, Saya and Zeen listed zero. And the shelf is thin everywhere: Generation had 14 pieces, the most, and that is still a small sample.

Across all 51 pieces the typical frock Pakistan price was Rs 17,500, and half sat between Rs 8,499 and Rs 28,999. Asim Jofa is the outlier: its 4 pieces are hand embroidered bridal peshwas from Rs 250,000 to Rs 750,000, sirf for shaadi season investment.

The price spread is bohat wild. Limelight’s cheapest frock costs Rs 2,299, Asim Jofa’s dearest costs Rs 750,000. That is a 326x gap. So “what does a frock cost” depends entirely on what occasion and finish you want. Mehndi budget and bridal budget are different planets.

Frock Pakistan: Peshwas, the Formal Pick

Peshwas is the silhouette everyone searches for formal events. I counted every frock named peshwas or pishwas, and found 21 pieces at 5 brands:

Charizma is the peshwas shelf leader at accessible prices. Its 8 pieces are stitched raw silk and linen peshwas, all at full price, with most priced at Rs 25,500. Limelight is the budget option at Rs 2,999 typical on sale. Asim Jofa’s are bridal investment pieces, all above Rs 250,000. Ethnic has just two pieces, both on 50 percent sale.

Frock Pakistan: Anarkali Styles

Anarkali is the other formal silhouette, named after a Mughal courtesan. I found 13 anarkali dresses at 2 brands, at a typical price of Rs 10,493:

Generation owns the anarkali shelf. Its 12 pieces run Rs 6,498 to Rs 28,999, with most at around Rs 8,999 on 50 percent sale. Bonanza Satrangi has just one at Rs 10,493 on 30 percent sale. Frock Pakistan: Angrakha, Gown and Maxi

Beyond peshwas and anarkali sit the smaller frock categories. The numbers are tiny, every one a small sample:

Angrakha dresses are an overlap wrap front style. Only 3 pieces were in stock at 2 brands: 2 at Generation at Rs 9,374 typical on sale, and 1 at Ethnic at Rs 9,499 full price. Yaar, if you want an angrakha, your options are bohat limited online.

Maxi dresses had 3 pieces at J. Junaid Jamshed at Rs 7,343 typical, 2 of them on 30 percent sale. These are the casual end of the frock spectrum, more everyday than formal.

Frocks named just frock (not peshwas, anarkali, etc.) had 10 pieces across 4 brands: Baroque had 4 at Rs 27,450, Limelight had 2 at Rs 2,849, Generation had 2 at Rs 9,374, and Nishat Linen had 1 at Rs 15,990.

Frock Pakistan Prices: Bands for Every Budget

The sweet spot is Rs 10,000 to Rs 19,999, with more than a quarter of frocks. This is where Generation’s sale pieces and Charizma’s entry linen peshwas sit. Above Rs 50,000 it is Asim Jofa’s bridal peshwas and Gulaal’s formal pieces.

On the day, 22 of 51 frocks were on sale, 43 percent, at a typical cut of 50 percent and a typical sale price of Rs 8,250. Here is where the discounts sit:

Returns on Frocks

The tricky part. Nishat Linen says: “Formal wear cannot be exchanged or returned.” That includes peshwas and gowns. Limelight excludes sale items. Charizma allows 7 day exchange for unworn items with tags. Baroque charges Rs 500 return postage. Asim Jofa’s bridal pieces? Check with them directly, because at Rs 250,000+ you want clarity upfront.
