So I stopped reading the banners and measured every sale on clothes in Pakistan properly instead. Every discounted item at 19 major Pakistani brands, pulled straight from their own product data. 22,131 items.
The real typical discount is 40 percent, not 70. And that is only where the story starts. Chalo, poora sach dekhte hain.

Sorted by the typical cut, which is the exact middle of each sale. Half of every brand’s sale is worse than the number in that column:

Measured from each brand’s own live product data across 22,131 discounted items on 27 August 2026. “Typical discount” is the median, so half of that sale is worse than the number shown. Prices move during a sale.
In any sale on clothes in Pakistan, read the typical discount column and never the deepest cut column. The Competition Commission of Pakistan has compared unspecified “up to” offers to bait and switch advertising, and the gap between those two columns is exactly what it means. Beechtree reaches 84 percent on one item while its typical shopper gets 40 percent. Banner aur haqeeqat mein farq hai.

Percentages are how brands talk about a sale on clothes in Pakistan. Rupees are how you pay for it. This is the median price of a discounted item at each brand:

Look at Elan and Bachaa Party. Almost the same discount, 25 percent against 30 percent, but the typical Elan item costs twelve times the typical Bachaa Party one.
This is why Limelight keeps beating brands with deeper cuts. Its typical discount is only 31 percent, but the typical item lands at Rs 2,799. A 50 percent cut at a dearer brand often still costs you more. Rupee dekho, percentage nahi.

The cheapest garment category we could verify at each brand, averaged across at least 10 items, from live product data on 27 August 2026. Generation is left out because its feed does not publish prices in rupees. Homeware, jewellery and per metre fabric are excluded.
Notice the pattern in every cheap sale on clothes in Pakistan: almost every cheap entry is a bottom, a basic or a kids item. Nobody sells a discounted branded shirt for Rs 1,200, and any site suggesting otherwise is describing one item rather than a range.
My honest pick under Rs 2,000 is Almirah trousers at Rs 1,164, because it is a flat 50 percent with no hunting and trousers are what you actually wear out. Roz wali cheez pe kharcha karo.
Should You Wait for a Deeper Sale on Clothes in Pakistan?
Everyone says wait for the further reductions in a sale on clothes in Pakistan. So I tested it properly, measuring the same 19 sales twice, a week apart:

The same 19 sales measured twice, on 19 to 24 August 2026 and again on 27 August 2026. The other 15 brands did not move their typical discount at all between the two passes.
Fifteen of the 19 brands did not move at all. Not by a single percentage point. Only Beechtree genuinely rewarded waiting, deepening from 30 percent to 40 percent.
And Elan shows the cost. Its sale collapsed from 264 items to 55 in the same week, and the typical discount got worse. Anyone waiting there lost their size and their discount together. Intezaar mehnga par sakta hai.

Every entry read directly from the brand’s own published returns or exchange policy on 20 August 2026, and re-read for 15 of the brands on 27 August 2026. Where a policy does not mention sale items at all, the table says so rather than assuming they are covered. Policies change, so check the brand site before you pay.
Only Gul Ahmed does not name sale items in its exclusion list, and only Ethnic by Outfitters explicitly still allows a size exchange on discounted stock.

How to Shop Any Sale on Clothes in Pakistan
- Check the typical cut, not the banner. Use the first table on this page. If a brand’s median is 30 percent, that is your realistic expectation.
- Convert the percentage into rupees. Forty percent off Rs 20,000 still costs Rs 12,000.
- Measure yourself before ordering. Sale stock is final at 17 of 19 brands.
- Add tailoring to any unstitched price. The only brands that publish a rate charge Rs 4,500 (Cross Stitch) and Rs 3,060 to Rs 7,650 (Charizma), and it changes every comparison.
- Add delivery too. Rs 249 on a Rs 1,000 item is a 25 percent surcharge.
- Buy early in the window. Common sizes go in the first ten days.
